I'm Baaaaaack.

Well, the public just couldn't take the hiatus. They needed this one. Fiending for it, well maybe that's a little extreme, but I am back and this time hopefully for good. (You'll believe it when you see it, right.)

Anyway, there is tons and tons that I should probably right about and have opinion of. We'll see how much of that I get around too.

First and foremost. TV shows.

Thumbs Up: Nip/Tuck, of course. When I think about this show, a few words come to mind. Ludacris. An hour of non-reality. Captivating. This is the one show that I am on board with right now. Tuesday at 10 has got to be the most-looked (not good English) forward time of the week. Dr. Christian Troy is the most captivating character since Brian and Joe Hackett. One thing leads to another and to a point its almost predictable, which is something that I have become very good at. I'll probably be writing this show in about 3 years. Needless to say I can't wait for the rest of this season to unfold. It should be wild, wild times.

Oh and I'm on board for House, but that should be common knowledge and its back on the 31st. Apparently FOX can't show the Mets lose and House at the same time, so whatever.

Thumbs Down: Sorry, but its gotta be Friday Night Lights. The coach is a souped down Bud Kilmer, it's basically Varsity Blues seven years too late. I watched 5 minutes of it and couldn't really take anymore. It just seems forced and like they are trying to hard. Now, there are alot of people that like this show, critics and friends and what not, but I guess to each their own. For my football spectacles, I'll stick to my boys Mox (who I have been told that I have a stricking resemblence to) and Lance Harbor.

Next, let's go college football.

Thumbs Up: THE. Wait, I want to start this again. THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY.We are on a crash course for a date at the 'Shoe with Michigan and the winner heading to the Nat'l Championship. Teddy Ginn's punt return was so sweet. This was actually the first game that I got to watch in its entirity because of my work schedule, I was pleased to say the least. Smith is flawless and should win the Heisman, he is the leader that Justin Zwick was not last year. I still think that if we win the Texas game last year, we are going for the repeat this year. That's all in hindsight though, whatever. The defense is young and volatile. The offense is like poetry. I'm getting too sentimental, I'll stop.

Thumbs Down: The U. The Seventh Floor Crew. Da U. Whatever you wanna call them. This was kinda unbelieveable. I had to watch it like four times before I could actually comprehend what was going on. This Lamar Thomas clown was so out of line for the things he said on the Comcast broadcast, so I'm glad he was fired. Now, this was pure comedy from my standpoint though. It was sick and a bad representation for all the young kids, but it was still hilarious and his commentary was priceless. Point23 covered this earlier too and I must say it is quite amusing.

Hmmm, what next? How about music.

Thumbs Up. I'm just gonna give you 10 songs that you should probably download if you want your life to be more complete. In no particular order...

1. Diddy - Tell Me ft. Christina Aguilera...This Diddy album is as much of a piece of garbage that it was thought to be. You can tell he spent a lot of money, like Diddy money, on the production and all the details. It's got some bangers and some not so muches. But its better than a lot of the other crap that has been put out this year (paging Lupe).

2 - 4. John Legend - Each Day Gets Better, P.D.A. (We Just Don't Care), & Again. This album is pretty good. He is definetly a soulful dude. It doesn't have as many bangers as the first album. And by bangers, I mean silky, smooth R&B, not actually banging beats, just to clarify. The album doesn't come out for another week, but I have had it for a week because that's just how things go.
5/6. The Killers - When You Were Young & The River is Wild....I wasn't too much into this type of thing about 2 years ago. But I guess as you get older, you start to get more receptive to more things and give stuff chances. Plus a majority of the rap stuff that is being put out lately bores me. I like a lot of it, but most of it bores me. I gave this a chance and am feeling it. I am a big fan of this Brandon Flowers-lead singer guy. He beefs with any punk ass group that he feels like and rocks a sick 'stache. Here is there performance from the VMA's awhile ago...

So yeah, I'm rolling with The Killers.

7. Jay-Z - Kingdom Come..C'mon he references Batman, Superman, and Spiderman. Only Jay. Plus it's better than the first single. Moving on...

8. John Mayer - Vultures & Belief...Yeah, I'm not afraid to roll with John Mayer. Plus, he saw through Jessica Simpson's bullshit. Good for him and Lachey. These songs are good and he can sing. On a side note, whats up with Volkswagon putting a guitar hook-up in there cars. How is this more appealing to anyone. That's like elvator manufacturers putting a strip pole in an elevator. The time you have to use it is so short, what's the point. I doubt too many people are going out to there driveway, hookin up there First Act guitar and playing some Eagles for their neighbors. Just like I doubt too many secretaries would be stripping for their co-workers on the thirty second ride down to the second floor for the staff meeting. Oh well.

9. Weird Al Yankovic - Trapped in the Drive Thru. It's priceless. If you thought Trapped in the Closet was too over the top. You will love this. Go illegally download it.

10. Lloyd Banks - Help ft. Keri Hilson...this is his new album's Karma. Just another song for the ladies, and in my opinion Banks does these songs much better than 50. Get 50 out of here actually. More Banks please.

The randomness...

The New York Giants are Ballllllllllin...

That's priceless, but not as priceless as Lamont Jordan beating himself up over these fumbles. And I thought I got mad when I missed a lay-up in traffic at noonball.

Thank You, Rex Grossman. You might have cost me my fantasy football season. I'm still in the playoffs but this 6 turnover performance could lead to the demise of my season. I don't think it will but I will be blaming Sexy Rexy for it, if it does. So, the Bears have a bye this week which means I will be starting none other than Bruce Gradkowski. YES!

"I'm not gonna be your hired stud Burt." - Dr. Christian Troy

I want, no actually, need a dog. Now.

The Bears are who we THOUGHT the ARE!!!!!

You gotta love these coaches because they care so much about their teams, but sometimes it just comes out so wrong. This is one of the greatest press conference blow-ups in the past couple years.

The NBA is starting, the NBA is starting. This makes me a very happy man. Just so this is clear right now, I align myself with these people. Shaq, Arenas, Hinirich, Deng, CP3, Luke Walton, Wayne Simien, Danny Granger, among others, but these are the men that embody the LiTP lifestyle.

I'm pretty much beating people down with my NFL picks over at Point23

I've been burning a lot of inscense lately, calm down mom, i'm careful with it and its not near anything that it could catch on. It's pretty relaxing, I'm not gonna lie.

I'm even watching Grey's Anatomy now. I'm not gonna lie, it's pretty good.

That's all for now. Back soon.

Bust a move.

Thumbs Up: LOST. C'mon, you knew I was goin there. Altho when the commercials outnumber the actual show, we start to have a problem.
Thumbs Down: My soul after watchin 10 minutes of nip/tuck.

College Football: Can someone explain to me why Mario Manningham isn't up for the Heisman? He's like college football's Chris Carter: all he does is catch TD passes. The MU/OSU showdown is gonna be unreal. Troy "Yes, I would like 500 dollars, Mr. Booster" Smith better bring his A game.

Things we can all agree on: dogs are friggin awesome, incense is relaxing and THE CARDINALS ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE!

Glad to have ya back, Zero. Keep em comin.
